Sonocare employs ARDMS/CCI sonographers. We follow the guidelines set forth by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Echocardiology Laboratories (ICAEL) and the American College of radiology (ACR). Insurance companies are beginning to require facilities to be ICAEL and ACR accredited for reimbursement – we do it as a standard of care.
Sonocare is one of the few companies in the Southeast that is accredited by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Echocardiography Laboratories. This ICAEL accreditation was achieved because of our commitment to quality patient care.
